A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...

Laplacian spectra and invariants of graphs
Let \(b(G)=(n-1)/(1/\lambda_2 + 1/\lambda_3 + \dots + 1/\lambda_n)\) be the harmonic mean of positive Laplacian eigenvalues \(\lambda_2, \lambda_3, \dots, \lambda_n\) of a connected graph \(G\) with \(n\) vertices. The author gives bounds for the minimal edge-density in edge-cuts, edge-connectivity, isoperimetric number, average distance, average ...

COLORING INVARIANTS OF SPATIAL GRAPHS [PDF]
We define the fundamental quandle of a spatial graph and several invariants derived from it. In the category of graph tangles, we define an invariant based on the walks in the graph and cocycles from nonabelian quandle cohomology.

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

Lattice models, cylinder partition functions, and the affine coxeter element [PDF]
The partition functions of the affine Pasquier models on the cylinder are calculated in the continuum limit. The partition functions of the models based upon the Â(_n) cycle graphs are first found from the appropriate Coulomb-gas equivalence.

Graph Invariant Learning with Subgraph Co-mixup for Out-of-Distribution Generalization [PDF]
Graph neural networks (GNNs) have been demonstrated to perform well in graph representation learning, but always lacking in generalization capability when tackling out-of-distribution (OOD) data. Graph invariant learning methods, backed by the invariance

The present study investigates recycling of NiTi shape memory alloys via vacuum induction melting. An ingot was synthesized from elemental Ni and Ti and subjected to three subsequent remelting cycles. Remelting increases process durations and impurity levels and adversely affects microstructures and functional properties.
