An Object-Based Approach to Modelling and Analysis of Failure Properties [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
In protection systems, when traditional technology is replaced by software, the functionality and complexity of the system is likely to increase. The quantitative evidence normally provided for safety certification of traditional systems cannot be relied

Effective Graph Protection Method to Prevent the Spreading of Attacks in Networks

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Computing, Engineering and Design, 2019
Networks are fundamental models for representing and analyzing the structures of real-world systems. For instance, in social networks, nodes are used to represent users and edges represent the connection between users.

Protection of lexicographic product graphs

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory, 2019
Let \(G\) be a graph. A map \(f:V(G)\rightarrow\{0,1,2\}\) can be presented by a partition \((V_0,V_1,V_2)\) of \(V(G)\) where \(v\in V_i\) if \(f(v)=i\) for \(i\in \{0,1,2\}\). A vertex \(v\) of \(G\) is defended by \(f\) if \(N_G[v]\cap (V_1\cup V_2)\neq \emptyset\) where \(N_G[v]\) is the closed neighborhood of \(v\).

AI Governance Oriented Legal to Technology Bridging Framework for Cross-modal Privacy Protection [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue, 2021
With the popularity of virtual communities among network users, virtual community groups have become a small society, which can extract user-related privacy resources through the "virtual traces" left by users' browsing and user-generated content user ...

Error Floor Analysis of Coded Slotted ALOHA over Packet Erasure Channels [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We present a framework for the analysis of the error floor of coded slotted ALOHA (CSA) for finite frame lengths over the packet erasure channel. The error floor is caused by stopping sets in the corresponding bipartite graph, whose enumeration is, in ...

Modelling the risk of failure in explosion protection installations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This paper proposes a new algorithm to compute the residual risk of failure of an explosion protection system on an industrial process plant. A graph theoretic framework is used to model the process.

Outsourced Analysis of Encrypted Graphs in the Cloud with Privacy Protection

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2023
Huge diagrams have unique properties for organizations and research, such as client linkages in informal organizations and customer evaluation lattices in social channels. They necessitate a lot of financial assets to maintain because they are large and frequently continue to expand.
