Microwave absorption performance and broadband absorption optimization of reduced graphene oxide
The microwave absorption performances of different contents and superimposed layers of large sheet reduced graphene oxide (rGO) absorbers have been studied, and the rGO is obtained from the thermal reduction of graphene oxide by the improved Hummers ...

Perfect proton selectivity in ion transport through two-dimensional crystals
Defect-free monolayers of graphene and hexagonal boron nitride are highly permeable to thermal protons, but are impenetrable to gases. Here the authors show that mechanically exfoliated crystals exhibit perfect proton selectivity, corroborating proton ...

Carbon nanomembranes with ultra‐thin Al2O3 functionalization are less than 15 nm thin and exhibit outstanding permeation performance with a water vapor/nitrogen selectivity higher than 1 × 104, twice that of pristine CNMs, and an exceptionally high water vapor permeation rate for potential applications in air dehumidification.

The paper presents the author view on spin-rooted properties of graphene supported by numerous experimental and calculation evidences. Dirac fermions of crystalline graphene and local spins of graphene molecules are suggested to meet a strict demand - different orbitals for different spins- which leads to a large spectrum of effects caused by spin ...

Effect of surfactants on preparation of high concentration graphene aqueous dispersion
The effects of surfactant structure and concentration on the preparation of high concent-ration graphene aqueous dispersion by HPH-LPE were systematically studied by UV-Vis spectra, TEM and laser granularity analyser. Three different types of surfactants

2D Covalent Moiré Superlattice from Fluorinating Twisted Bilayer Graphene
A novel class of moiré materials, termed covalent moiré superlattice is proposed, which can be synthesized by functionalizing moiré van der Waals materials. By fluorinating twisted bilayer graphene, the weak van der Waals interactions between twisted graphene layers are transformed into strong covalent bonds, making the moiré superlattice effects ...
