Graphics processing on a graphics supercomputer

IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications, 1989
A description is given of the Titan Graphics Supercomputer. The primary design philosophy was to have as little redundant hardware as possible and to make as much of the hardware available to compiled application code as possible. This led to a design with multiple parallel processors, each with an integer unit and a vector floating-point unit.

Graphical Models

1996
Abstract The idea of modelling systems using graph theory has its origin in several scientific areas: in statistical physics (the study of large particle systems), in genetics (studying inheritable properties of natural species), and in interactions in contingency tables.

Graphical Passwords

2012
Authentication is probably one of the main security processes that almost everybody has at one point used. Currently, the most widespread authentication mechanism is based on textual passwords, a well-established approach that, with the growth of users and services, has increasing and serious drawbacks.

On graphical partitions

Combinatorica, 1993
For even \(n\), let \(p(n)\) denote the number of partitions of \(n\) and \(G(n)\) denote the number of graphical partitions of \(n\). A partition \(\pi=(\lambda_1,\lambda_2,\dots,\lambda_m)\) is graphical if there exists a graph with degree sequence \(\pi\). The authors discuss progress and possible lines in enquiry on the questions of whether or not \

Graphics and Graphical User Interfaces

2009
Many resource-constrained devices do not need a complex graphical display. They provide an intuitive user interface with buttons and LEDs or a simple text display. However, there is a growing demand for devices that provide a complex user interface with a detailed graphical display.

Graphic Pathogeographies

Journal of Medical Humanities, 2014
This paper focuses on the graphic pathogeographies in David B.'s Epileptic and David Small's Stitches: A Memoir to highlight the significance of geographic concepts in graphic novels of health and disease. Despite its importance in such works, few scholars have examined the role of geography in their narrative and structure. I examine the role of place
