Formal specification of graphical notations and graphical software tools
2006The paper describes a meta language, called PSN (picture specification notation), for the specification of graphical notations in software engineering, and outlines the software tool building system for which it was designed. The latter is based on a prototype system which facilitated the rapid production of tools for processing textual notations ...

Computer graphic design software applications in graphic design
Proceedings of 2011 International Conference on Electronic & Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology, 2011Graphic design is a products of combination of technology and art. With the development of the times and social progress, all kinds of graphic design combined with computer graphic design software. This article started from the analysis of the concept of computer graphic design software, introduce the concept and current state of graphic design, then ...

Graphics Software Packages as Instructional Tools
American Annals of the Deaf, 1985Many graphics software packages for microcomputers have application in the classroom. These commercially prepared packages can be used for visually presenting concepts in virtually every academic field. They allow teachers and students to quickly and accurately create and present data, diagrams, drawings, or charts.

Graphical specifications for concurrent software systems
Proceedings of the 14th international conference on Software engineering - ICSE '92, 1992We present a description of a graphical interval logic that is the foundation of a toolset we are developing to support formal specification and verification of concurrent software systems. Experience has shown that most software engineers find standard temporal logics difficult to under- stand and to use.

ACM SIGGRAPH Computer Graphics, 1973
This article was prompted by the article written by Jon Meads in the Fall 1973 SIGGRAPH report. (1) A graphics package has been developed for use on Digital Equipment Corporation's GT40 and GT44 series of minicomputer-based graphics systems. Within the limitations of the machines, a package of graphics software was written to allow almost complete ...

Hyperscore [graphics software package]
IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications, 2004Hyperscore software was developed by Mary Farbood and Egon Pasztor. Hyperscore is a research prototype and is still in progress. There are two versions of Hyperscore: one that needs a display with a resolution of at least 1024/spl times/768, and one that works with displays that are only 800/spl times/600. Hyperscore needs DirectX to run.

Graphically speaking: Graphics software for non‐artists
Library Hi Tech, 1994Most computer users need graphics once in a while, even text‐oriented people like the author. While there have always been many different tools for manipulating and creating graphics on DOS computers (and better ones for Macs), Windows has made such tools more common, less expensive, easier to use, and much more powerful.

Graphics software and hardware design with the 82786
Microprocessors and Microsystems, 1988Abstract The 82786 graphics coprocessor has two separate and independent processors on chip, one for drawing and another for display. To use this device to full advantage the device must be programmed to allow efficient use of its resources. The paper describes how the processor sees the 82786.

Software for Satellite Graphics
1971This paper is in three parts, the first comments on the size of satellite graphic configurations, the second on the software problems of effecting a link between two computers, while the last describes a software system designed for use with satellite displays. This system is currently being implemented by Marconi-Elliott Computer Systems Ltd., under A.
