Hybrid DNA Origami – Graphene Platform for Electrically‐Gated Nanoscale Motion
A hybrid DNA origami‐graphene architecture is employed in a nearfield sensing device for optical distance assessment in biosensors and biorecognition purposes. Using Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM), a nearfield quenching model is verified and test the device response under several electrostatic gating conditions, which leads to changes ...

Fabrication of Ultra‐Thick Masks for X‐Ray Phase Contrast Imaging at Higher Energy
This work shows a fabrication route to 500 µm thick X‐ray masks the thickest ever reported in the literature combining dynamic optimization of etching parameters and superconformal bismuth‐mediated gold filling. Their use in an Edge Illunomination set‐up showed their higher phase sensitivity at higher energies compared to thinner masks, especially for ...

Analytical analysis of the decrease in the focal intensity of a femtosecond laser pulse caused by an imperfect surface of compressor diffraction gratings [PDF]
An analytical expression for the focal intensity of a laser pulse was obtained for an asymmetric out-of-plane compressor with gratings of arbitrary surface shape. The focal intensity is most strongly affected by the linear angular chirp caused by the spatial shift of different frequencies on the second and third gratings. The chirp can be eliminated by

Surface topographical deformation is enhanced in liquid crystal polymer/oligomer network coatings by integrating nonreactive liquid crystal 5CB as a plasticizer, which facilitates the creation of dynamic polymer‐based solid optical devices. Abstract Surfaces with dynamic topographies play a pivotal role in modern technology by providing adaptable ...
