Bathymetric Prediction from Multi-source Satellite Altimetry Gravity Data [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science, 2019
According to the “theoretical admittance " and the "observation admittance" of the actual data, the theoretical value of effective elastic thickness in the study area was 10km.

Influence of Sea Level Anomaly on Underwater Gravity Gradient Measurements

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Considering the theoretical research needs of gravity gradient detection and navigation, this study uses the right rectangular prism method to calculate the disturbing gravity gradient from sea level anomalies in the range of 5° × 5° in the Kuroshio ...

DIGITAL MODELING OF GRAVITY ANOMALIES [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
The article is devoted to digital modeling of gravity anomalies, the solution of which plays an important role in the geological interpretation of the observed anomalies in gravity prospecting.

Probing depth origin of gravity anomalies in Taiwan through 3-D coherent velocity model

open access: yesTerrestrial, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, 2021
We constructed a 3-D coherent velocity model by extracting the common features from recent tomographic models and utilized the forward gravity modeling and wavelength filtering method to explore the depth origin of the gravity anomalies, such as the long-

Gravity dual of the chiral anomaly [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2002
We study effects associated with the chiral anomaly for a cascading $SU(N+M)\times SU(N)$ gauge theory using gauge/gravity duality. In the gravity dual the anomaly is a classical feature of the supergravity solution, and the breaking of the U(1) R-symmetry down to ${\bf Z}_{2M}$ proceeds via the Higgs mechanism.

MaGSoundDST-3D automatic inversion of magnetic and gravity data based on the differential similarity transform [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We present an automatic procedure - Magnetic And Gravity SOUNDing Differential Similarity Transform (MaGSoundDST) - for inversion of regular or irregular magnetic- and gravity-grid data measured on even or uneven surfaces.

Assessment of HY-2A GM data by deriving the gravity field and bathymetry over the Gulf of Guinea

open access: yesEarth, Planets and Space, 2020
Nine cycles of Haiyang-2A (HY-2A) IGDR (Interim Geophysical Data Record) data are used to derive gravity products over the Gulf of Guinea (15° W–5° E, 4° S–4° N).

GRAVITY TESTS AND THE PIONEER ANOMALY

open access: yesThe Eleventh Marcel Grossmann Meeting, 2008
Experimental tests of gravity performed in the solar system show a good agreement with general relativity. The latter is however challenged by the Pioneer anomaly which might be pointing at some modification of gravity law at ranges of the order of the size of the solar system.

Compatibility of high-altitude aeromagnetic and satellite-altitude magnetic anomalies over Canada [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Results from equivalent-source distributions derived jointly from high-altitude (average 4 km) aeromagnetic and Magsat-derived (average 400 km) magnetic anomalies over Canada indicate that long-wavelength components (500–2500 km) in these fields are ...
