Nonlinear Spectral Synthesis of Soliton Gas in Deep-Water Surface Gravity Waves. [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2020
Soliton gases represent large random soliton ensembles in physical systems that exhibit integrable dynamics at the leading order. Despite significant theoretical developments and observational evidence of ubiquity of soliton gases in fluids and optical ...

Position and Attitude Control Based on Single Neuron PID With Gravity Compensation for Quad Rotor UAV

open access: yesJournal of Aerospace Technology and Management, 2023
Aimed at the deficiency of existing PID controller for quad rotor UAV, a single neuron PID controller with gravity compensation is presented. After using feed forward control to compensate gravity, the position loop adopts PID control to ensure control ...

Postural adaptation to microgravity underlies fine motor impairment in astronauts’ speech

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
Understanding the role of anti-gravity behaviour in fine motor control is crucial to achieving a unified theory of motor control. We compare speech from astronauts before and immediately after microgravity exposure to evaluate the role of anti-gravity ...

Control Strategies of Gecko’s Toe in Response to Reduced Gravity

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Shear-induced adhesion is one of the key properties for the gecko moving safely and quickly in a three-dimensional environment. The control strategies of such locomotion strongly relying on adhesion are still not well understood.

Multi-mode Control Method of Gravity Energy Storage DC Link Battery

open access: yesZhongguo dianli
Gravity energy storage is one of the important energy storage modes. However, due to its unique transient dynamic characteristics, it is necessary to construct a reasonable system topology and control method.

Feasible Positions of Towing Point and Center of Gravity for Towfish Attitude Control

open access: yes한국해양공학회지, 2020
Most towfish systems do not have propulsive devices and cannot compensate for perturbation motion, which can affect the observation data. This paper discusses attitude control of a towfish with elevators on the left and right tail wings to improve the ...

‘DUAL’ GRAVITY: USING SPATIAL ECONOMETRICS TO CONTROL FOR MULTILATERAL RESISTANCE [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Econometrics, 2007
SUMMARYWe derive a quantity‐based structural gravity equation system in which both trade flows and error terms are cross‐sectionally correlated. This system can be estimated using techniques borrowed from the spatial econometrics literature. To illustrate our methodology, we apply it to a well‐known Canada–US trade dataset.

Quantum superposition of massive objects and the quantization of gravity [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2018
We analyze a Gedankenexperiment previously considered by Mari et al. [Sci. Rep. 6, 22777 (2016).] that involves quantum superpositions of charged and/or massive bodies (``particles'') under the control of the observers, Alice and Bob.

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.
