Sonified Signals From a Compact FT‐ICR Instrument: A Feasibility Study. I—Data Mapping to an Equal‐Tempered Chromatic Scale

open access: yesRapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Rationale Ions trapped within a Penning cell (ICR) travel periodic orbits whose frequencies are dependent on their mass‐to‐charge ratio and the value of the magnetic field passing through the trap. Fourier transformation (FT‐ICR) decomposes the signal induced in the detection circuit by the rotation of the ions in the cell after the ...

Gravure printing with a shear-rate-dependent ink

open access: yesFlow
Gravure printing is a type of printing method that uses metal cylinders with engraved cells that hold ink. The ink is transferred directly to the paper or other material by pressing it against the cylinder.

Smuggling Sovereignty: Trade, Transgression, and State Authority

open access: yesEconomic Anthropology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Global supply chains are saturated with transgressions—corruption, smuggling, document forgery, and other practices that blur the line between legality and illegality. States do not merely endure these practices; they actively shape the conditions for them, producing the very illegal systems they then claim to police.

Laser‐Assisted In Situ Fabrication of rGO/Bi2O3 Nanocomposites for Heavy Metal Sensing

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Rapid CO2 laser irradiation drives the in situ formation of Bi2O3 nanoplatelets within reduced graphene oxide, yielding flexible, reproducible electrodes with excellent stripping voltammetric performance toward trace heavy metals. ABSTRACT In this work, we introduce a laser‐assisted approach to synthesize reduced graphene oxide/bismuth oxide (III) (rGO/

Cooperative Solvent‐Thermal Interactions Enable Multi‐Material Nanotransfer Printing for Multi‐Dimensional Molecular Profiling

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Cooperative solvent‐thermal nanotransfer printing (ST‐nTP) exploits the synergistic interplay between solvent‐induced polymer swelling and thermal‐pressure‐driven densification to achieve selective material transfer, enabling scalable single‐step fabrication of 3D hierarchical multi‐material nanoarchitectures with sub‐20 nm resolution for tunable ...

LA RÉÉCRITURE DU MYTHE D’ORPHÉE DANS LE BESTIAIRE OU CORTÈGE D’ORPHÉE DE GUILLAUME LA RÉÉCRITURE DU MYTHE D’ORPHÉE DANS LE BESTIAIRE OU CORTÈGE D’ORPHÉE DE GUILLAUME APOLLINAIRE

open access: yesVoix Plurielles, 2009

Unraveling Pathway Complexity in Photoreversible Supramolecular Hydrogels: Real‐Time Visualization and Sub‐Micrometric Photopatterning

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This research demonstrates real‐time visualization of supramolecular sol‐gel transitions using Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM). By leveraging 5D visualization, integrating 3D space, time, and polarity resolution, we achieved maskless sub‐micrometric photopatterning within the gel matrix.

Printing to Fight Antimicrobial Resistance Through Nano/Microstructured Platforms

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, EarlyView.
Additive manufacturing enables the rational design of structured antimicrobial platforms across multiple length scales, from nanofibrous scaffolds and droplet microreactors to 3D and 4D printed constructs. By engineering confinement, interfacial chemistry, and stimuli‐responsive release, these systems exert localized action through complementary ...

Drone‐based radiotelemetry and imagery systems provide an advantage over traditional techniques for estimating survival of dependent juveniles

open access: yesWildlife Society Bulletin, EarlyView.
We used drone‐based radiotelemetry and multispectral imagery to estimate detection and survival probabilities of blue‐winged teal broods in Saskatchewan, Canada. Weekly brood survival probabilities, estimated via Cormack‐Jolly‐Seber models, increased with age and were comparable between drone methods.
