ABSTRACT Electron acceleration by a high‐power Laguerre‐Gaussian pulse in a micro‐plasma waveguide is investigated. When the incident laser travels in the waveguide, electrons on the wall are extracted into the vacuum core and accelerated by the longitudinal field of the waveguide mode.

GRAZING BEHAVIOUR OF DAIRY COWS ON MOUNTAIN FARM

The etological observation was provided on a dairy herd (65 Czech Fleckvieh and 51 Holstein cows) on a low-input mountain farm during the pasture season (April – October 2008). The milking was provided two-times a day in the stalls. The 24-hours observations were made four-times: in June, July, September and October, in 10- minutes intervals.

Wide Temperature Zero Thermal Expansion in Al Matrix Composites with High Thermal Conductivity

Strain engineering strategy is implemented on the negative thermal expansion (NTE) phase Zn1.6Mg0.4P2O7 within composites, where Al matrix‐induced compressive strain drives uniform polyhedral and unit cell evolution, thereby enabling broad and consistent thermal compensation efficacy and obtaining good thermal performance.
