n‐Type Polymer Radio Frequency Rectifiers Operating at 18.5 GHz

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Combining an n‐doped polymer semiconductor with wafer‐scale asymmetric planar electrodes featuring work function‐engineered contacts yields radio‐frequency diodes and rectifying circuits operating at up to 18.5 GHz. The devices combine scalable manufacturing with an operating frequency previously unattainable by large‐area organic electronics ...

A Scalable Perovskite Platform With Multi‐State Photoresponsivity for In‐Sensor Saliency Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable in‐sensor computing platform (32 × 32 array) with ultra‐low variability is developed by incorporating ferroelectric copolymers into halide perovskite thin films. These devices achieve 1000 programmable photoresponsivity states and high thermal reliability.

Effectiveness of exclosures to control soil erosion and local communities perception on soil erosion [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The study investigated how effective exclosures are in the fight against soil erosion and how they are perceived as a means to control soil erosion by the local community (farmers and local experts).

Backbone Engineering of Carbon‐Centered NHC‐Derived Diradicals: From Electronic State Tuning to High‐Performance Organic Field‐Effect Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The open‐shell nature of diradicals facilitates charge separation, and compounds with moderate diradical character demonstrate remarkable potential in organic field‐effect transistors (OFET) applications due to their low reorganization energies for hole and electron transport.

Range grazing capacity raised: Program of seeding annual clovers, fertilization and grazing management resulted in improved forage quality and quantity

open access: yesCalifornia Agriculture, 1956
A threefold increase in grazing capacity was achieved in a five-year range improvement program involving the seeding of adapted clovers, phosphorus fertilization, and grazing management on over 500 acres.

Asymmetric effects of grazing intensity on macroelements and microelements in grassland soil and plants in Inner Mongolia Grazing alters nutrient dynamics of grasslands

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, 2020
Grazing is a traditional grassland management technique and greatly alters ecosystem nutrient cycling. The effects of grazing intensity on the nutrient dynamics of soil and plants in grassland ecosystems remain uncertain, especially among microelements ...

Balancing livestock free grazing and ecosystem functionality: investigating the carrying capacity of grazing land in the Eastern Savannah of Rwanda

open access: yesTropical Animal Health and Production
Abstract This study focused on investigating the carrying capacity of individual grazing lands in the Eastern Province of Rwanda. We collected data on above-ground biomass of natural pasture from 63 farms during the wet and dry seasons to capture the seasonal variation of forages.

Evolution of Materials and Device Stacks for HfO2‐Based Ferroelectric Memories

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This review summarizes engineering strategies for HfO2 based ferroelectric memories with focus on FeCAP and FeFET structures. It describes how dopant design, stress effects, and interface engineering improve the bulk ferroelectric response. It further discusses how channel engineering supports reliable memory characteristics and scalable integration ...
