Of the multitude of ancient Greek producing and exporting centers, which exported their goods, especially liquids in amphorae, only a small number of them applied stamps to commercial amphorae: Thasos, Sinope, Rhodes, Chersonese, Cos, Knidos, Mende, Samos, etc.
