From hardcore Bosons to free Fermions with Painlev{\'e} V
We calculate zero temperature Green's function, the density--density correlation and expectation values of a one--dimensional quantum particle which interacts with a Fermi--sea via a $\delta$--potential.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Some thermal properties of ideal gas
In this article, we investigate the thermal properties of non-relativistic many-body systems at finite temperatures and chemical potential. We compute the one-point function of various operators constructed out of the basic fields in ideal bosonic and ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Analytical study of non-linear transport across a semiconductor-metal junction
In this paper we study analytically a one-dimensional model for a semiconductor-metal junction. We study the formation of Tamm states and how they evolve when the semi-infinite semiconductor and metal are coupled together.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Scalar field quantization on the 2+1 dimensional black hole background
The quantization of a massless conformally coupled scalar field on the 2+1 dimensional Anti de Sitter black hole background is presented. The Green's function is calculated, using the fact that the black hole is Anti de Sitter space with points ...

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Green’s Matrices for First Order Differential Systems with Nonlocal Conditions∗
In this paper, we investigate the linear system of first order ordinary differential equations with nonlocal conditions. Green’s matrices, their explicit representations and properties are considered as well.
