Using Aerial Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Imagery to Estimate Corn Plant Stand Density [PDF]
Since corn plant stand density is important for optimizing crop yield, several researchers have recently developed ground-based systems for automatic measurement of this crop growth parameter.

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Biomechanics of Natural Fiber Green Composites as Internal Bone Plate rafted
The main purpose of this paper was to introduce a new series of green composites as a plate for bone fracture applications. These green composites offer many advantages over traditional composites and biocomposites based on synthetic polymers. In current

Sowing season of corn with cowpea and corn intercropping in the weed control. I. Green ears yield. [PDF]
Green ears yield losses caused by weeds may reach up to 52%. Reducing the use of herbicides is one of agriculture's major goals and several alternatives are currently being investigated, including intercropping.

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Plant host selectivity for multiplication of Glomus mosseae spore [PDF]
The study aimed to select plant host for multiplication of Glomus mosseae spores. Five plant species were used [(corn, (Zea mays) sorghum, (Sorghum bicolor) lentil, (Lens culinaris), barley, (Hordeum vulgare) and green bean, (Phaseolus vulgaris)]. Plants

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Phosphorus utilization by corn as affected by green manure, nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers
The objective of this work was to evaluate the utilization by corn plants of P from triple superphosphate fertilizer labeled with 32P (32P‑TSP), and of P from soil as affected by N rates and by the green manures (GM) sunn hemp (Crotalaria juncea) and ...

OPTIMAL DESIGN OF A VOLUNTARY GREEN PAYMENT PROGRAM UNDER ASYMMETRIC INFORMATION [PDF]
Green payment programs, where the government pays farmers directly for environmental benefits, are an alternative to the current method of achieving environmental benefits which restricts farming practices in exchange for deficiency payments.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.
