ABSTRACT Background Children with sickle cell disease (SCD) face multiple acute and chronic medical complications that may impact their quality of life as reported by patients themselves. Health‐related social needs (HRSNs), such as food and housing insecurity, are common in people with SCD, but the association between HRSNs and patient‐reported ...

Phonon Green's function. [PDF]
The concepts of source and quantum action principle are used to produce the phonon Green's function appropriate for an initial phonon vacuum state. An application to the Mossbauer effect is presented.

ABSTRACT Cup‐like nuclei are a distinctive morphological feature observed in certain cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). We provide evidence that they characterize DUX4/ERG ALL independently of IKZF1 deletion and reveal marked mitochondrial accumulation in this ALL subset.

Green function on product networks [PDF]
Our objective is to determine the Green function of product networks in terms of the Green function of one of the factor networks and the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the Schr odinger operator of the other factor network, which we consider that are ...

ABSTRACT Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma (pcALCL) is a rare pediatric CD30‐positive T‐cell lymphoproliferative disorder with an excellent prognosis, but its genomic drivers are poorly defined. We report three children with skin‐limited disease demonstrating striking molecular heterogeneity, including NPM::ALK, NUP214::FRK, and a novel ...

ABSTRACT Background Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, with an overall survival now surpassing 90% in developed countries. However, treatments are not without adverse effects. In this study, we apply the severe toxicity‐free survival (STFS) framework to determine the prevalence of 21 physician‐defined severe ...

Impacts of monoculture and mixed vegetation on green roof hydrological function [Elektronisk resurs] [PDF]
A dense vegetation cover is usually desired to fulfil aesthetical expectations of green roofs, and therefore stress tolerant Sedum vegetation has traditionally been favoured for extensive green roofs.

Embedded Many-Body Green\u27s Function Methods for Electronic Excitations in Complex Molecular Systems [PDF]
Many-body Green\u27s function theory in the GW approximation with the Bethe--Salpeter equation (BSE) provides a powerful framework for the first-principles calculations of single-particle and electron-hole excitations in perfect crystals and molecules ...
