Design Rules for Controlling Connectivity, Topology, and Sorting Using Hydrogen‐Bonded Pairs and Aromatic Components in Palladium(II)‐Based Interlocked and Foldameric Systems

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
We have established a set of design rules which combine Pd(II) metal coordination, complementary geometries, complementary interligand hydrogen bonding and π─π interactions for predictable self‐assembly of Pd(II)‐based species such as metallo‐foldamers, cyclic species a metallo‐interlocked clippane. The species persist in a combinatorial mixture due to

Green Human Resource Management and its Strategic Importance in the Modern Era: A Review and Research Framework

open access: yesIJEBD (International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Development), 2020
Sustainability is a buzz word in this 21st century where not just the nations but the organizations are trying to achieve the sustainable development goals set forth by United Nation Organization (UNO).

The HRM Cockpit: an instrument for developing and evaluating sustainable HRM in an organization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
These days, a new approach is emerging in the field of Human Resource Management (HRM). Where strategic HRM has been the main approach for the last decades, nowadays more and more scholars are connecting sustainability to HRM (Ehnert, 2009, 2014, Kramar,

Tyrosinase Driven‐Intracellular Polymerization of a Porphyrin Derivative Induced Immunogenic Death of Melanoma Cells and Strengthened Photodynamic Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uses tyrosinase, which is highly expressed in melanoma, to drive porphyrins to polymerize and self‐assemble within tumor cells to form retented microstructures. This process induces immunogenic death and activates immune responses (M1 macrophages, dendritic cells, CD8+T cells), turning “cold” tumors into “hot” tumors.

Boron‐Doping of a Macrocyclic Tetrafuran Framework Unveils an Expanded Porphyrinoid With Switchable (Anti)Aromaticity and Conformational Dynamics

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
We disclose a novel boron macrocycle derived from the sustainable furan building block. The boraporphyrinoid exhibits a global antiaromatic ring current and dynamic conformational flexibility. Twofold reduction induces a switch to strong global aromaticity, accompanied by stiffening of the porphyrinoid backbone.

Localizable Fluorescent Metal Ion Indicators With Tunable Colors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A modular platform enables the generation of fluorescent metal ion indicators with tunable emission colors and precise subcellular localization. Conjugation to self‐labeling proteins yields bright, color‐tunable potassium probes that permit wash‐free live‐cell imaging, revealing dynamic potassium efflux in stimulated neurons.

A Revised Model for Muscarine Biosynthesis Involving Lysine Trimethylation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
The fatal mushroom toxin l‐(+)‐muscarine is one of the most prominent natural products. We elucidated its biosynthetic origin in the sweating mushroom Collybia rivulosa based on incorporation of stable isotope‐labeled compounds and extensive mass spectrometric analyses.

Validity of telemetric-derived measures of heart rate variability: a systematic review [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Heart rate variability (HRV) is a widely accepted indirect measure of autonomic function with widespread application across many settings. Although traditionally measured from the 'gold standard' criterion electrocardiography (ECG), the development of ...

Rewiring NADH Metabolism Through NQO1‐Mediated Redox Cycling for Targeted Follicular Lymphoma Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Follicular lymphoma (FL) remains an incurable B‐cell malignancy with high relapse rates, and conventional therapies are often limited by significant toxicity, highlighting the need for novel treatments. We identified that FL exhibits markedly low expression of NAD(P)H: quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1), a key enzyme required for activating ...
