Scale Study: The Green Inhibitors For Silica Polymerization [PDF]
This project is entitled The Green Inhibitors for silica polymerization aimed to identify and evaluate the efficiency of potential green inhibitors from natural extract to be compared with the commercial green inhibitor such as polyaspartate.

Differential susceptibility of PCR reactions to inhibitors: an important and unrecognised phenomenon
PCR inhibition by nucleic acid extracts is a well known yet poorly described phenomenon. Inhibition assessment generally depends on the assumption that inhibitors affect all PCR reactions to the same extent; i.e.

Corrosion inhibition of aluminum in a diesel–biodiesel fuel blend using Thymus vulgaris
The use of Thymus vulgaris extract as a green corrosion inhibitor for aluminum in a 20% biodiesel–80% diesel blend has been evaluated using gravimetric and electrochemical techniques, such as linear polarization resistance (LPR), electrochemical ...

Research Progress of Green Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors [PDF]
In recent years, with the continuous improvement of people’s awareness of health, environmental protection, and safety, as well as the implementation of relevant laws and regulations, higher requirements have been put forward in industry for volatile ...

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Mild steel readily corrodes in acidic environments, and most industrial corrosion inhibitors are synthetic, often toxic, and environmentally harmful. In this study, electrocatalytically active Cd–Cs mixed oxide nanocomposites were synthesized via a green

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Green Corrosion Inhibitors to Head Off the Corrosion Rate of ST 37 Steels
The corrosions process is a natural process and cannot be hindered, but it can be protected by adding a green inhibitor. Green corrosion inhibitors are a new alternative solution for corrosion protection because they are low-cost, biodegradable, and eco ...
