Green's functions and the S matrix
1992Abstract In this chapter we study the Klein-Gordon field interacting with itself. This model has very limited physical applications, but it allows us to introduce several important ideas without having to use the more complicated formalism for particles of nonzero spin.

The green MBA: a competing values matrix
Competitiveness Review: An International Business Journal, 2010PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to review and categorize the different strategies Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs have adopted towards incorporating environmental sustainability into business administration.Design/methodology/approachThrough extensive internet research looking at colleges and universities, data are collected from ...

Green Taxes on Aviation: The Case of Italy. The Proposal of the Green Taxation Matrix
2012This work aims at analysing the impacts of an aviation tax in Italy and at proposing a general methodology to manage the complex effects of introducing environmental taxes. After a review of the literature and the analysis of the possible structures of the tax, its effects, at various levels, are calculated under a partial-equilibrium model.

The Role of the Protein Matrix in Green Fluorescent Protein Fluorescence
Photochemistry and Photobiology, 2006ABSTRACTIn the ground state of the highly conjugated green fluorescent protein (GFP), the chromophore should be planar. However, numerous crystal structures of GFP and GFP‐like proteins have been reported with slightly twisted chromophores. We have previously shown that the protein cavity surrounding the chromophore in wild‐type GFP is not ...

The Green Option Matrix to Characterize Green Products and Practices
2013Hybrid cars, recycled products, photovoltaic cells, bioplastics: why so different products can be called ‘green’? Which practices companies willing to develop green products should implement? How companies can easily and effectively communicate to stakeholders the environmental features of their green products?

Green’s-matrix calculation of total energies of point defects in silicon
Physical Review B, 1992The principal approximation in the Green’s-matrix method for calculating the electronic structure and total energy of point defects in crystalline solids is the choice of (finite) basis set. In this paper the results of total-energy calculations with a number of different Gaussian-orbital basis sets are presented for several defects in silicon ...

Matrix elements of the reduced Coulomb Green's function
Il Nuovo Cimento D, 1985Using computer we tabulated matrix elements of the partial waves of the reduced Coulomb Green's functions forn=1, 2, 3, 4, 5 andl=0, 1, 2. They enable fast analytical evaluation of the second-order corrections to the bound energy levels for the perturbed hydrogenlike Hamiltonians. We also present the examples of their use for the effective-mass exciton

A cross flow regenerator — a Green's matrix representation
Chemical Engineering Science, 1972Abstract A mathematical model describing the operation of a two-fluid, cross flow regenerator has been proposed. It gives rise to a hyperbolic system of three linear, first order partial differential equations for which a Green's matrix has been constructed.

Convergence of the Hartree-Fock green matrix method
Chemical Physics, 1988Abstract A self-consistent-field method for the calculation of the electronic structure of a local perturbation in an infinite chain is described. The method is based on the Green function theory and the Hartree-Fock LCAO procedure. Using two simple models convergent results have been obtained.
