Valorization of Olive Leaf Polyphenols by Green Extraction and Selective Adsorption on Biochar Derived from Grapevine Pruning Residues

open access: yesAntioxidants, 2023
Given today’s increasingly intensive agriculture, one key problem area considers the valorization and reuse of wastes from food and agricultural production with minimal impact on the environment.

EFFECT OF SPROUTED CORN GRAINS ON LEUCAENA TREE PRUNING AND OLIVE TREE PRUNING DIETS FOR DESERT GOATS UNDER SINAI CONDITIONS. [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Animal and Poultry Production, 2013
This study was conducted to evaluate alfalfa (Medicago sativa) [control], with two unsprouted leucaena (Leucaena leucocephala) (LTP) and olive tree pruning (Olea europaea) (OTP)  and also to study the effect of new sprouts technique (planting) of white ...

Faster RCNN based leaf segmentation using stereo images

open access: yesJournal of Agriculture and Food Research, 2023
In the plant cultivation, pruning is a crucial stage to improve plant metabolism. A robot may be employed for efficient pruning. Before leaf pruning, the robot must distinguish leaves from branches. Aligned images of a golden melon plant captured using a

'Flordaprince' peach behaviour after two intensities of green pruning [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009

EVOLUTION OF THE MAIN VARIABLES OF Pinus taeda L. TREES UNDER DIFFERENT SILVICULTURAL TREATMENTS IN NORTHEASTERN CORRIENTES PROVINCE, ARGENTINA

open access: yesCiência Florestal, 2010
A study was developed in order to examine the relationship between thinning, pruning and increment of trees and stands of Pinus taeda L., as well as to determine models that could predict production and quality of logs.

Influence of pruning upon carbon dioxide fixation with urban greening

open access: yesJournal of the Japanese Society of Revegetation Technology, 2003

MOSP: Multi-Objective Sensitivity Pruning of Deep Neural Networks

open access: yes, 2023
Deep neural networks (DNNs) are computationally intensive, making them difficult to deploy on resource-constrained embedded systems. Model compression is a set of techniques that removes redundancies from a neural network with affordable degradation in ...

Exploratory Comparative Effectiveness Trial of Green Kiwifruit, Psyllium, or Prunes in US Patients With Chronic Constipation

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Gastroenterology, 2021
INTRODUCTION: Psyllium and prunes are proven treatments for chronic constipation (CC). Asian studies suggest that kiwifruit may also benefit CC symptoms. We report a partially randomized, comparative effectiveness trial evaluating kiwifruit, psyllium, and prunes in US patients with CC. METHODS:

Evaluation of time demands of pruning selected apricot varieties and rootstocks

open access: yesHorticultural Science, 2013
The study conducted over the period 2008-2012 demonstrates labour intensity requirements for dormant pruning of selected apricot varieties (Leskora, Betinka, Marlen) on different rootstocks (Julior, M-LE-1, Penta, Tetra, Green Gage, Ishtara and MY-KL-A).
