The Effect of Emissions on U.S. State Total Factor Productivity Growth
This paper investigates the effect of sulphur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions on the Total Factor Productivity (TFP) growth among 48 contiguous U.S. states, for the period 1965-2002.

Does Local Government Green Attention Promote Green Total Factor Productivity?
Improving green total factor productivity (GTFP) is critical for balancing economic benefits and ecological constraints. While most existing studies emphasize the pivotal role of governments in GTFP enhancement, they predominantly treat governments as homogeneous entities, overlooking the fundamental premise of local government attention allocation ...

Redox‐Dependent Chaperoning of GBF1 Condensates Regulates Seed Germination in Arabidopsis
In dormant seeds (low ROS), GBF1 forms liquid condensates to repress the germination gene CathB3, and the chaperone GIP1 maintains condensate liquidity and repressive activity. Upon imbibition (high ROS), ROS oxidize GIP1 during germination, impairing its chaperone function.

Is the Green Revolution Vanishing? Empirical Evidence from TFP Analysis for Rice
A serious concern has been raised recently on the long run sustainability of the productivity effects of Green Revolution technologies in the light of decelerating trend in the yield growth of rice since the mid 1980s under irrigated ecosystem.

Towards a green world: how new urbanization affects green total factor carbon productivity
IntroductionNew urbanization is a powerful support for regional economic growth and green transformation.MethodsIn this paper, we select data from 237 cities at prefecture level and above in China from 2010 to 2021 for quasi-experimental design, and ...

An activity‐dependent pathway links prefrontal circuit hypoactivity to cognitive impairment. Reduced PVA–mPFC activity upregulates NEPAS, which suppresses PTX3 secretion, leading to impaired angiogenesis, myelin deficits, and memory decline. Rescue is achieved by NEPAS knockdown or chemogenetic circuit activation.

REGIONAL PRODUCTIVITY DIFFERENCES AND PROSPECT FOR CONVERGENCE IN BANGLADESH AGRICULTURE, 1964-1992
This paper applies the sequential Malmquist index to calculate multi lateral, multi-factor productivity (MFP) indices for agriculture in 16 regions of Bangladesh from 1964 to 1992 and examines convergence among regions.

Natural Variation of NAR5 Determines Nitrogenase Activity and the Yield in Soybean
This study identified NAR5, a gene encoding a subtilisin‐like protease, that regulates nitrogenase activity in soybean nodules. Overexpressing NAR5 delayed nodule senescence, enhancing nitrogenase activity, yield, and low‐nitrogen tolerance. The elite haplotype NAR5HapI‐1 linked to superior nitrogenase activity and greater seed weight has been ...
