Agriculture emits a range of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gas metrics allow emissions of different gases to be reported in a common unit called CO _2 -equivalent. This enables comparisons of the efficiency of different farms and production systems and of

MRPC with eco-friendly gas [PDF]
The Multigap Resistive Plate Chambers (MRPC) are used as a timing detector in several particle physics and cosmic ray experiments. The gas mixture of MRPC at current experiments is a mixture containing $\rm C_2F_4H_2$ and in some cases $\rm SF_6$.

Spectrally Engineered Coatings for Steering the Solar Photons
Spectrum‐splitting energy synergy: a spectrally engineered radiative cooling (RC) coating with photoluminescence is integrated with bifacial photovoltaic (biPV) panels to construct a hybrid biPV‐RC system. By controlling solar photon conversion pathways and guiding light transport, the system enables synergistic power generation and daytime radiative ...

Policy Design for International Greenhouse Gas Control [PDF]
In this heart-searching, process based thesis, I want to find out who I am in the field of Architecture. Trough my urge to create, I am discovering and searching by making and producing objects by hand to feel and be present with the materiality ...

Mechanical Homogenization Promoting Dual‐Directional Upcycling of Layered Oxide Cathodes
This work introduces an efficient dual‐directional upcycling scheme enabled through a mechanical homogenization pretreatment. It enables various layered oxide cathodes to be reprocessed into fresh NCM cathodes with tailored Ni contents through boosted atomic diffusion in just 4 h of solid‐state sintering.

Genome sequencing of rumen bacteria and archaea and its application to methane mitigation strategies
Ruminant-derived methane (CH4), a potent greenhouse gas, is a consequence of microbial fermentation in the digestive tract of livestock. Development of mitigation strategies to reduce CH4 emissions from farmed animals is currently the subject of both ...

Embodied Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Diets
Changing food consumption patterns and associated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have been a matter of scientific debate for decades. The agricultural sector is one of the major GHG emitters and thus holds a large potential for climate change mitigation through optimal management and dietary changes.

Reallocating Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Emission in EU15 Countries [PDF]
This research work uses an alternative approach for modeling agricultural greenhouse gas emissions as an undesirable output, based on the zero sum gains DEA model (ZSG-DEA BCC model).
