Neural Markers of Interocular Grouping During Binocular Rivalry With MEG

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, Volume 47, Issue 10, July 2026.
Frequency‐tagged MEG revealed distinct neural correlates during binocular rivalry and interocular grouping. BR evoked stronger dominant responses, whereas grouping conditions showed comparable patterns during suppression. Notably, higher‐order intermodulation frequencies were enhanced in the visual cortex during IOG.

Aquatic macrophytes as nature‐based solutions: Challenges and opportunities across inland and coastal waters

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography Letters, Volume 11, Issue 4, July 2026.
Abstract Macrophytes are foundation species whose use as nature‐based solution (NbS) in aquatic ecosystems can help reduce climate change impacts while mitigating biodiversity loss. The discrepancy in research and application of macrophytes as NbS across inland and marine coastal ecosystems is an opportunity to expand the concept and learn from ...

Bile Acid Deconjugation and Anti‐Helicobacter pylori Activity of Limosilactobacillus reuteri DSM 34531

open access: yesMolecular Nutrition &Food Research, Volume 70, Issue 13, 15 July 2026.
ABSTRACT Limosilactobacillus reuteri DSM 34531 has been attributed with probiotic characteristics, including a reduction of symptoms of acute diarrhea and atopic dermatitis. Yet, other probiotic features typical for some Lm. reuteri strains such as bile salt hydrolase (BSH) and anti‐ Helicobacter pylori activity have hitherto not been documented. Whole

Evolving Pathways of Departure and Return in Rural Thailand

open access: yesPopulation, Space and Place, Volume 32, Issue 5, July 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper draws on a forty‐year longitudinal (1982–2022) village study of Thailand to reflect on how circulation persists, but in new ways. We trace evolving migration flows over a period during which Thailand progressed from low‐income to upper‐middle‐income status, and Non Tae and Tha Song Korn from semi‐subsistence rice‐growing communities

Addressing Biases in Ice Jam Observations by Integrating Multi‐Source Data in a Forested Fluvial Landscape, Southern Quebec

open access: yesRiver Research and Applications, Volume 42, Issue 6, Page 1188-1208, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Exhaustive long‐term and large‐scale ice jam records are scarce in most cold river environments. Many discrete events occur in small, sparsely populated river systems and are poorly represented in open‐source databases. These observation biases are transferred to predictive models of ice jams and the collective understanding of their formation

Riverine Migration Success of Salmonid Smolts Following Their Entrainment in a Hydropower Off‐Channel Diversion in an Upland River

open access: yesRiver Research and Applications, Volume 42, Issue 6, Page 1272-1282, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Salmonid fishes typically express anadromy. During their juvenile riverine emigration, their downstream movements can be inhibited by hydropower schemes that entrain fish in their intakes. Here, the riverine migration success of smolts of brown trout Salmo trutta (“trout smolt”) and Atlantic salmon Salmo salar smolts (“salmon smolt”) was ...
