The nature of neuroplasticity in the adult scene‐selective network is poorly understood. Training in categorization of unfamiliar (aerial) scenes results in specific changes to scene‐selective cortex and is predictive of behavioral improvements. We suggest that scene‐selective cortex is malleable and can support the learning of novel spatial geometries.
