Investigations on material removal mechanism during laser-assisted grinding silicon nitride ceramics
Grinding of silicon nitride ceramics has been seen the existence of processing problems such as low processing efficiency and high grinding forces. In response to the problem, this paper mainly analyzes the processing mechanism of the laser-assisted ...

Approach for the Calculation of Cutting Forces in Generating Gear Grinding
One of the main challenges in generating gear grinding is the determination of cutting forces due to their significant influence on the dynamics of the grinding process. Thus, optimizing the cutting forces can lead to an increased quality of ground gears

The dynamic disulfide bonds facilitated the development of high‐performance aerospace ablation‐resistant materials. At moderate temperature, the dissociation and recombination of disulfide bonds ensured excellent processability, mechanical properties, and recycling ability of phenolic resin; at high temperature, cleavage of disulfide bonds produced ...

Unveiling the Taxonomic Diversity and Unprecedented Biosynthetic Treasure of the Phylum Myxococcota
Natural products remain vital sources of therapeutics, and the phylum Myxococcota constitutes an especially rich reservoir for them. Based on decades of microbiological efforts, we present 154 new Myxococcota genomes and revise taxonomy quadrupling the number of families and genera.

Self‐Assembly of Organic–Inorganic Copolymers Toward Bio‐Inspired Cementitious Composites
Organic–inorganic copolymerization of calcium silicate hydrate and thioctic acid produces a self‐organized nanocomposite inspired by the disordered collagen–mineral architecture of trabecular bone. The resulting material combines a compressive strength above 300 MPa with intrinsic physical reprocessibility, retaining over 80% of its strength and energy

Chemical vapor deposition produces large‐grain, phase‐pure CsPbBr3 films (grains up to 35 µm) with Drude‐like terahertz photoconductivity and twofold higher carrier mobility versus spin‐coated references. These microstructural advances translate into photodetectors with a detectivity of 8.4 × 1012 Jones, dark current below 1 pA cm−2, X‐ray sensitivity ...
