Grinding Performance of Permeated Grinding Wheel
Advanced Materials Research, 2011The permeated grinding wheel was a new kind of grinding wheel, which was permeated by the chemical additives and solid lubricant into the interior gaps of the grinding wheel. Therefore, the grinding wheel can form a lubrication film on the surface of the grinding wheel.

Effect of Novel Grinding Wheels on Grinding Performance
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013Grinding, a technique for removing abrasive materials, is a chip-removal process that uses an individual abrasive grain as the cutting tool. Abrasive material removal processes can be very challenging owing to the high power requirements and the resulting high temperatures, especially at the workpiece-wheel interface. This paper presents a novel system

Dynamic Performance of Shoe Centerless Grinding
Dynamic Systems and Control, 2002In this paper, the dynamic performance of shoe centerless grinding is presented. The model is a single-mass system in time and frequency domains. Based on the model, the stability and the critical parameters of the grinding process were studied. Numerical simulations were conducted in order to evaluate key parameters for the grinding process. The model

Grinding Performance of Diamond Grinding Tools for Sapphire Crystal
Advanced Materials Research, 2014In order to improve the efficiency and reduce the cost of sapphire crystal machined by loose abrasive lapping, the fixed-abrasive diamond grinding tools for sapphire grinding were investigated in this paper. Four vitrified-resin composite bond diamond grinding tools with different grain sizes (40μm, 20μm, 7μm, 2.5μm) were developed.

Evaluation of Grinding Lubricants—Simulation Testing and Grinding Performance
A S L E Transactions, 1977Specially built hemispherical grinding wheel segments have been used to evaluate four grinding lubricants in a modified pin-on-disk wear test. These results are compared to external cylindrical grinding tests of the same lubricants. The scanning electron microscope and electron microprobe are used to show the similarity in wear morphologies for the two

Effects of grinding media on grinding products and flotation performance of chalcopyrite
Minerals Engineering, 2020Abstract Selective flotation has been considered the most promising strategy for treating chalcopyrite. Grinding, an essential procedure before flotation, has extraordinary significance in chalcopyrite flotation. In this study, the differences between the properties of the products obtained by grinding with cast iron ball (CIB, >3.5% C) and ceramic ...
