Generalization of Buchberger’s Algorithm with Respect to Several Orderings on Difference Modules

open access: yesپژوهش‌های ریاضی, 2021
Grobner basis with respect to several orderings is a powerful tool to compute multivariate difference dimension polynomials. In this paper, an algorithm for computing a Grobner basis of a difference module over a ground difference field with respect to ...

Satisfying positivity requirement in the Beyond Complex Langevin approach

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
The problem of finding a positive distribution, which corresponds to a given complex density, is studied. By the requirement that the moments of the positive distribution and of the complex density are equal, one can reduce the problem to solving the ...

Performance Analysis of Parameter Estimator Based on Closed‐Form Newton Method for Ultrawideband Positioning

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
Ultrawideband (UWB) is considered as a promising technology in indoor positioning due to its accurate time resolution and good penetration through objects. Since the functional model of UWB positioning is nonlinear, iterative algorithms are often considered for solving the nonlinear problem.

Tropical Differential Groebner Basis

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper, the tropical differential Gr bner basis is studied, which is a natural generalization of the tropical Gr bner basis to the recently introduced tropical differential algebra. Like the differential Gr bner basis, the tropical differential Gr bner basis generally contains an infinite number of elements.

An extension of Buchberger's criteria for Groebner basis decision

open access: yes, 2009
Two fundamental questions in the theory of Groebner bases are decision ("Is a basis G of a polynomial ideal a Groebner basis?") and transformation ("If it is not, how do we transform it into a Groebner basis?") This paper considers the first question. It

Automatic Correction of Arithmetic Circuits in the Presence of Multiple Bugs by Groebner Basis Modification

open access: yesACM Trans. Design Autom. Electr. Syst.
One promising approach to verify large arithmetic circuits is making use of Symbolic Computer Algebra (SCA), where the circuit and the specification are translated to a set of polynomials, and the verification is performed by the ideal membership testing.

A geometric view of cryptographic equation solving

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Cryptology, 2008
This paper considers the geometric properties of the Relinearisation algorithm and of the XL algorithm used in cryptology for equation solving. We give a formal description of each algorithm in terms of projective geometry, making particular use of the ...

Analysis of power system oscillation frequency using Differential Groebner Basis and the Harmonic Balance Method

open access: yesIEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting, 2015
For analysis of non-constant electro-mechanical oscillation frequency with a power system, this paper proposes an analytical approach integrating Differential Groebner Basis (Diff-GB) and the Harmonic Balance Method (HBM). This approach is illustrated in

Groebner basis structure of ideal interpolation

open access: yes, 2020
We study the relationship between certain Groebner bases for zero dimensional ideals, and the interpolation condition functionals of ideal interpolation. Ideal interpolation is defined by a linear idempotent projector whose kernel is a polynomial ideal. In this paper, we propose the notion of "reverse" complete reduced basis.
