Hochschild Cohomology of the Algebra of Conformal Endomorphisms
It was proved by I. Dolguntseva (St. Peterburg Math. J., 2010) that second Hochschild cohomology groups for the associative conformal algebra 𝐶𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑘 with coefficients in an arbitrary conformal bimodule are trivial.

Selective harmonic elimination in PUC‐5 multilevel inverter using hybrid IGWO‐DE algorithm
The inverter switching can be done at a low frequency using the Selective Harmonic Elimination (SHE) technique, and the unwanted harmonics can be significantly reduced; however, the issue with SHE is solving the transcendental equations and determining the optimum switching angle.

Groebner Basis Under Composition [PDF]
this paper is: When does composition commute with Groebner basis computation? We prove that this happens iff the composition is "compatible" with the term ordering and the un-divisibility.

Forensic intelligence: Expanding the potential of forensic document examination
During the manufacturing process, traces are left on fraudulent identity and travel documents which are representative of the modus operandi used by the forger to create the document. These traces can then be extracted and profiled based on their visual, chemical, and digital features to help provide a greater understanding of the criminal environment ...

A probabilistic and deterministic modular algorithm for computing Groebner basis over $\Q$. [PDF]
Modular algorithm are widely used in computer algebra systems (CAS), for example to compute efficiently the gcd of multivariate polynomials. It is known to work to compute Groebner basis over $\Q$, but it does not seem to be popular among CAS ...

Block ciphers sensitive to Groebner Basis Attacks [PDF]
We construct and analyze Feistel and SPN ciphers that have a sound design strategy against linear and differential attacks but for which the encryption process can be described by very simple polynomial equations. For a block and key size of 128 bits, we

Rational Involutions and an Application to Planar Systems of ODE
An involution refers to a function that acts as its own inverse. In this paper, our focus lies on exploring two-dimensional involutive maps defined by rational functions.

Skin Colour and Priesthood. Debating Bodily Differences in Early Modern Catholicism*
Can people of different skin colours become Catholic priests? What may seem self‐evident from today's perspective, Catholic theologians and canon lawyers controversially debated in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. While most authors agreed that colour per se was not a problematic factor, an increasing number argued that non‐white ...
