Inverter Ground Fault Overvoltage Testing [PDF]
This report describes testing conducted at NREL to determine the duration and magnitude of transient overvoltages created by several commercial PV inverters during ground fault conditions. For this work, a test plan developed by the Forum on Inverter Grid Integration Issues (FIGII) has been implemented in a custom test setup at NREL.

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein

Critical investigations on performance of ANN and wavelet fault classifiers
With increasing demands and competitive business environment, the structure of power system has become very complex. Moreover, power system is a dynamic framework due to faults and rapid load variations.

Geophysical investigation of the Pb-Zn deposit of Lontzen-Poppelsberg, Belgium [PDF]
The drillhole information from the Lontzen-Poppelsberg site has demonstrated three orebodies and has allowed the estimation of the extension of the lodes, their dip, and the location at the ground surface.

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

Ground deformation on the Earth’s surface layer is strongly affected by the nonlinearity of geomaterials. However, the formation process of such deformation has yet to be described in a unified manner based on mechanics.

A Broad, Distributed Active Fault Zone Lies beneath Salt Lake City, Utah
Although the Wasatch fault is currently known to have a high-seismic hazard from motion along range-bounding faults, new seismic data reveal faulted and folded 13,000–30,000-yr-old Lake Bonneville strata beneath Salt Lake City (SLC).

The Wister Mud Pot Lineament: Southeastward Extension or Abandoned Strand of the San Andreas Fault? [PDF]
We present the results of a survey of mud pots in the Wister Unit of the Imperial Wildlife Area. Thirty-three mud pots, pot clusters, or related geothermal vents (hundreds of pots in all) were identified, and most were found to cluster along a northwest ...

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.
