Ground Segment of Distributed Ground Station System

EUROCON 2007 - The International Conference on "Computer as a Tool", 2007
The article discusses an innovative method of data transmission between a satellite and the Earth. The authors suggest using a distributed network of ground stations, which simultaneously receive data from the satellite. The article presents new solutions, which allow improving the quality of receiving channel in comparison to an antenna array ...

On the Concept of Grounding Impedance of Multipoint Grounding Systems

IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2014
An N-port equivalent circuit approach is adopted to model a multipoint grounding system, N being the number of injection points. A methodology is proposed to determine the parameters of the N-port equivalent circuit from either numerical simulations or experimental measurements.

Grounding systems research: re-establishing grounded theory

Proceedings of the 35th Annual Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences, 2003
In the field of information systems (IS) there has been a growing trend away from a technical view of systems (with the system literally seen primarily in terms of the physical devices), to one that seeks to account for nontangible aspects such as cognition, culture, motivation and so on.

GROUND CONDUCTOR FOR A GROUNDING SYSTEM

2001
A ground conductor for grounding systems of electrostatic separators, comprising an electroconductive core with a plastic or rubber sheath. In order to prevent the liquids from flowing therethrough, the inventive ground conductor consists of two conducting parts, the conducting parts are joined to each other by means of a liquid-tight graphite part ...

Grounding System Parameters and Expression of Ground Resistance

2016
In any electrical circuit network, the circuitry that provides a path between the parts of the circuit and the ground, is known as the grounding system. The grounding system is required for reliable operation of any electrical equipment including generator, transformer, power system tower, and other power system installation under fault conditions.
