Economic Reliability Group Acceptance Sampling Plans Based on the Inverse-Rayleigh and the Log-Logistic Distributions

Economic Quality Control, 2011
Summary: Economic reliability group acceptance sampling plans are developed assuming that the lifetime of a submitted product follows the inverse-Rayleigh or log-logistic distribution. For various acceptance numbers, sample size and producer's risks, plans with minimum experimental time are obtained that are smaller than for conventional plans.

A two-stage group acceptance sampling plan based on life tests for half logistic distribution

Model Assisted Statistics and Applications, 2016
In this paper, we considered a two-stage group acceptance sampling plan based on life tests where the lifetime follows half logistic distribution. The decision on acceptance of lot can be made in the first or second stage according to the number of failures from each group.

TWO-STAGE GROUP ACCEPTANCE SAMPLING PLAN FOR HALF-NORMAL DISTRIBUTION

This paper proposes a time-truncated life test based on a two-stage group acceptance sampling plan for the percentile lifetime following a half-normal distribution. The optimal parameters for this plan are determined to simultaneously satisfy both producer’s and consumer’s risks for a given experimentation time and sample size.

Single and group acceptance sampling plans for Weibull and Pareto distribution

2018
One of the most important statistical tools in production sector is the acceptance sampling plans. Because the producers want the protection of the quality of the products and minimum variability between the products. Acceptance sampling plans are not only preserving the producers’ benefit but also looking out for the consumers’ interest.

Testing lifetime of the product using new distribution in group acceptance sampling plan

Journal of Statistics and Management Systems
In this article, we investigate three modern probability models for lifetime random variables: elicitation inverse Rayleigh (EIR), generalized inverse weibull (GIW) and Weighted generalized inverse Weibull (WGIW). A group of acceptance sampling plans for EIR, GIW and WGIW distributions are developed.

Group acceptance sampling plans for resubmitted lots under exponentiated half logistic distribution

Journal of Industrial and Production Engineering, 2015
In this article, we developed a resubmitted lot for group acceptance sampling plan to ensure the lifetime of the product quality assuming that the product lifetime follows the exponentiated half logistic distribution. The plan parameters are determined by fixing the experiment termination time and the number of testers at the specified producer’s and ...

An Exponentiated Half Logistic Distribution to Develop a Group Acceptance Sampling Plans with Truncated Time

Journal of Statistics and Management Systems, 2015
AbstractIn this article, we considered a group acceptance sampling plans for exponentiated half logistic distribution if the lifetime is truncated at a pre-assigned time with known index parameter of the exponentiated half logistic distribution. The number of groups and the acceptance number of suggested sampling plan are determined when both the ...

Repetitive group sampling plan based on the process capability index for the lot acceptance problem

Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, 2016
ABSTRACTAn acceptance sampling plan is a method used to make a decision about acceptance or rejection of a product, based on adherence to a standard. Meanwhile, process capability indices (PCIs) have been applied in different manufacturing industries as capability measures based on specified criteria which include process departure from a target ...

Group acceptance sampling plans for resubmitted lots under Burr-type XII distributions

Journal of the Chinese Institute of Industrial Engineers, 2011
In this article, a group acceptance sampling plan (GASP) for lot resubmitting is developed to ensure the quality of product lifetime assuming that the product lifetime follows the Burr-type XII distribution. The parameters of the GASP are determined by satisfying the specified producer's and consumer's risks according to the experiment termination time

Double and Group Acceptance Sampling Inspection Plans Based on Truncated Life Test for the Quasi-Xgamma Distribution

Stochastics and Quality Control
Abstract In this article, we developed group and double acceptance sampling inspection plans (GASIP) and (DASIP). In GASIP, multiple number of items, made as a group, can be tested simultaneously in an inspection procedure. We study both the GASIP and DASIP under the truncated life test assuming that the lifetime of an item is ...
