Noble Metals in Rocks of the Sarma Group: Phase Composition and Element Associations
Geochemistry International, 2021The paper presents data on noble-metal mineralization in carbon-bearing rocks of the Sarma Group in the southern flank of the Baikal inlier of the Siberian craton basement. The phase composition of the accessory ore minerals (pyrite, arsenopyrite, microinclusions of native Ni, Sn, Zn, Cu, Fe–Ni and Ni–Fe–Ti composite compounds, Cu and Pb sulfides ...

AbstractChloropicophyceae (Prasinophyte Clade VII) are small nonmotile coccoid cells with cell diameters ranging from 1 to 3 μm. Molecular surveys indicate they are relatively high in abundance in moderately oligotrophic oceanic waters and may substantively contribute to biogeochemical cycling in the sea.

Measurement of the Isotopic Composition of the Iron-Group Elements in the Galactic Cosmic Radiation.
Physical Review Letters, 1978With an average mass resolution of approximately 0.65 amu the isotopic composition of Cr, Mn, Fe, and Ni in the galactic cosmic radiation has been measured for energies of about 300 to 600 MeV/amu at the detector. Large deviations from solar-system source composition reported by other workers are not observed.

Hierarchical clustering into groups of human brain regions according to elemental composition
Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry, 1998Thirteen brain regions were dissected from both hemispheres of fifteen ‘normal’ ageing subjects (8 females, 7 males) of mean age 79±7 years. Elemental compositions were determined by simultaneous application of particle induced X-ray emissions (PIXE) and Rutherford backscattering (RBS) analyses using a 2 MeV, 4nA proton beam scaned over 4 mm2 of the ...

The number of composite numbers in the set of element ordes of a finite group
Journal of Group Theory, 1998For a finite group \(G\), denote by \(\pi(G)\) the set of all prime divisors of the order of \(G\) and by \(\psi(G)\) the set of all composite numbers which are the orders of elements in \(G\). The author proves that \(\pi(G)\leq\psi(G)+3\) and if equality holds then \(G\) is simple and all possibilities for \(G\) can be listed. The finite groups \(G\)

On Composition Factors of Finite Groups Having the Same Set of Element Orders as the Group U3(q)
Siberian Mathematical Journal, 2002For a finite group \(G\) denote by \(\omega(G)\) the set of its element orders. The article continues the study of finite groups \(G\) such that \(\omega(G)=\omega(U_3(q))\). \textit{V.~D.~Mazurov, M.~C.~Xu}, and \textit{H.~P.~Cao} [Algebra Logika 39, No. 5, 567-585 (2000; Zbl 0979.20019)] proved that, if \(q\) is even, the above condition forces \(G\)

Sorption Behaviour of I to V Group Elements on a Nickel Hexacyanoferrate(II) Composite Ion Exchanger
ract, 1994This article deals with the accentuation of English phonetic units in a musical context. We aim to establish some relationships between word-stress pattern and melodic interval for the perception of English. The results of a perceptive test, using a voice synthesised by Mbrola, have enabled us to refute the null hypothesis which implies that the ...
