Hydrogen‐Assisted Fracture of Iron‐Based Fe–Ni–Al Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Principal relations and fracture mechanisms of single‐phase and precipitate‐strengthened Fe–Ni–Al alloys subjected to prior electrochemical hydrogen charging are identified. The mechanisms of hydrogen effect on strength and microhardness are discussed, including hydrogen‐induced increase in microhardness and the role of hydrogen in fracture behavior ...

Revealing the economic consequences of group cohesion

open access: yes, 2017
We introduce the concept of "group cohesion" to capture the economic consequences of ubiquitous social relationships in group production. We measure group cohesion, adapting the "oneness scale" from psychology.

The association of alliance, the bond with the treatment team, and group cohesion with self-esteem and quality of life in day clinic treatment of depression

open access: yesJournal of Affective Disorders Reports
Introduction: In day clinic treatment, patients engage not only with their psychotherapists, but also with fellow patients and other members of the treatment team. Given that interpersonal difficulties are a core component in the treatment of depression,

A Lightweight Procedural Layer for Hybrid Experimental–Computational Workflows in Materials Science

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We unveil a prototype hybrid‐workflow framework that fuses automatedcomputation with hands‐on experiments. Built atop pyiron, a lightweight, parameterized layer translates procedure descriptions into executable manual steps, syncing instrument settings, human interventions, and data capture in real‐time today.

Work-Group Cohesion

open access: yes, 1988
Work-group cohesion has been closely related to a number of variables as the present survey suggests. The content can be useful in teaching, developing research, instrument development, and exploring the hypothesized relations.

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

Identity, community and community cohesion : a critical engagement with policy discourses and the everyday

open access: yes
Using three different methods, this thesis critically explores New Labour policy discourses of community cohesion, alongside and in relation to, the construction and performance of gendered and racialised identities in a northern England town.
