Twisted actions and regular Fell bundles over inverse semigroups
We introduce a new notion of twisted actions of inverse semigroups and show that they correspond bijectively to certain regular Fell bundles over inverse semigroups, yielding in this way a structure classification of such bundles.

Inverse limits of topological group cohomologies [PDF]
For second countable locally compact almost connected groups G G and A A , where A A is abelian and G G acts on A A continuously, it is shown that it is possible to represent A A as an inverse limit of Lie groups {

NF90–NF45 functions as a negative regulator of methyltransferase‐like 3/14 (METTL3/14)‐mediated N6‐methyladenosine (m6A) modification on primary microRNAs (pri‐miRNAs). NF90–NF45 binds to anti‐oncogenic pri‐miRNAs and inhibits their m6A modification, thereby suppressing the biogenesis of anti‐oncogenic miRNAs.

In this paper, we introduce a new matrix decomposition called the [Formula: see text]-core-nilpotent decomposition which is an extension of the core-nilpotent decomposition. By this new decomposition, we propose a new generalized inverse named the [Formula: see text]-weak group MP inverse which unifies the DMP-inverse and weak core inverse.

Group velocity inversion in AlGaAs nanowires
We investigated the dispersion characteristics of submicron sized AlGaAs waveguides. Numerical simulations shows that the tight confinement of the optical waves in such nanowires leads to strong variations of the dispersion characteristics compared to classic, weakly guided waveguides of the same material system.

Aged human bmMSCs are seeded in the scaffold. Osteoblastic induction can slightly increase cell's bone‐forming activity to produce bone‐like tissues, shown as the sporadic xylenol orange‐stained spots (the lower left image). Notably, pioglitazone plus EGCG co‐treatment dramatically increases cell's bone‐forming activity and bone‐like tissue production (

Equations over free inverse monoids with idempotent variables
We introduce the notion of idempotent variables for studying equations in inverse monoids. It is proved that it is decidable in singly exponential time (DEXPTIME) whether a system of equations in idempotent variables over a free inverse monoid has a ...

A regulatory axis involving APE1, AUF1, and miR‐221 is proposed. Pri‐miR‐221 is processed by DROSHA and DICER to generate mature miR‐221, which targets p27Kip1 mRNA. APE1 and AUF1 compete for pre‐miR‐221 binding. Reduced APE1/AUF1 levels impair miR‐221 biogenesis, decrease p27Kip1 mRNA degradation, and promote cell cycle progression, chemoresistance ...

Renormalization group running of neutrino parameters in the inverse seesaw model
We perform a detailed study of the renormalization group equations in the inverse seesaw model. Especially, we derive compact analytical formulas for the running of the neutrino parameters in the standard model and the minimal supersymmetric standard ...

Solving an Inverse Sturm-Liouville Problem by a Lie-Group Method
Solving an inverse Sturm-Liouville problem requires a mathematical process to determine unknown function in the Sturm-Liouville operator from given data in addition to the boundary values.
