The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

The Line Scan Camera Calibration Based on Space Rings Group
In addition to the accuracy requirements, the calibration of the line scan camera (LSC) should also have strong operability and portability. This paper presents a low-cost high-reliability LSC calibration method.

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

An associative ring \(R\) with identity is called left morphic if for every element \(a\in R\) there exists \(b\in R\) such that \(l_R(a)=Rb\) and \(l_R(b)=Ra\), where \(l_R(a)\) denotes the left annihilator of \(a\) in \(R\). The ring \(R\) is said to be strongly left morphic if every matrix ring \(M_n(R)\) is left morphic [\textit{W. K.

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Rings all of whose additive group endomorphisms are left multiplications
Motivated by Cauchy's functional equation f(x+y)=f(x)+f(y), we study in §1 special rings, namely, rings for which every endomorphism f of their additive group is of the form f(x)≡ax. In §2 we generalize to R algebras (R a fixed commutative ring) and give

The pyruvate generator, which causes activation of respiration by extra‐mitochondrial Ca2+, is also present and functional in rat brainstem mitochondria, as it is in other brain regions. This finding is confirmed by experiments with a fully reconstituted malate–aspartate shuttle (MAS).

On the General Linear Group over Polynomial Rings
Within algebraic K-theory, when A↠B is a ring homomorphism, it is frequently important to determine the image of the induced homomorphism GLk(A)→GLk(B).
