This article presents the NFDI‐MatWerk Ontology (MWO), a Basic Formal Ontology‐based framework for interoperable research data management in materials science and engineering (MSE). Covering consortium structures, research data management resources, services, and instruments, MWO enables semantic integration, Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and ...

Exponent growth in groups acting on regular rooted trees [PDF]
openWhenever G is a group acting on a regular rooted tree, it is possible to define a canonical chain {Ni} of finite-index normal subgroups of G, which take the name of level stabilizers in G.

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

The first $\ell^2$-Betti number and groups acting on trees
We generalise results of Thomas, Allcock, Thom-Petersen, and Kar-Niblo to the first $\ell^2$-Betti number of quotients of certain groups acting on trees by subgroups with free actions on the edge sets of the graphs.Comment: 6 ...

Effect of Salicylic Acid and Silver Nitrate on Taxol Production in Taxus baccata
Background: Taxol is an effective anticancer drug used widely in the treatment of a variety of cancers, including carcinomas of the ovary and breast. Taxol was originally isolated from the bark of Pacific yew tree Taxus bervifolia L..

On centralizers of elements of groups acting on trees withinversions [PDF]
A subgroup H of a group G is called malnormal in G if it satisfies the condition that if g ∈ G and h ∈ H, h ≠ 1 such that ghg−1 ∈ H, then g ∈ H. In this paper, we show that if G is a group acting on a tree X with inversions such that each edge stabilizer is malnormal in G, then the centralizer C(g) of each nontrivial element g of G is in a vertex ...

Hydrogen‐Assisted Fracture of Iron‐Based Fe–Ni–Al Alloys
Principal relations and fracture mechanisms of single‐phase and precipitate‐strengthened Fe–Ni–Al alloys subjected to prior electrochemical hydrogen charging are identified. The mechanisms of hydrogen effect on strength and microhardness are discussed, including hydrogen‐induced increase in microhardness and the role of hydrogen in fracture behavior ...
