A traveling-wave solution for bacterial chemotaxis with growth [PDF]
Significance Motility is one of the most striking bacterial behaviors common among many species. Motile bacteria can expand rapidly into previously unoccupied habitats, thus increasing fitness. Fast expansion is fostered by the sensing of gradients which the bacteria generate themselves and is further boosted by cell growth.

In this paper we consider unbounded solutions of perturbed convolution Volterra summation equations. The equations studied are asymptotically sublinear, in the sense that the state-dependence in the summation is of smaller than linear order for large ...

In this paper, we investigate the order and the hyper-order of entire solutions of the linear differential equation \begin{equation*} f^{\left( k\right) }+\left( D_{k-1}+B_{k-1}e^{b_{k-1}z}\right) f^{\left(k-1\right) }+ ...

On the Asymptotic Growth of Solutions to a Nonlinear Equation [PDF]
so our results will hold for solutions of (2). We shall be primarily interested in the nonlinear oscillator, i.e. a(t) > O, xg(x) > 0 for x 0, but in Theorem III below, sign restrictions are removed. If we consider h(t) to be a sample function of a Brownian motion process h(t, w) on a probability space Q, we see the motivation for considering (1 ...

ABSTRACT Background Children with sickle cell disease (SCD) face multiple acute and chronic medical complications that may impact their quality of life as reported by patients themselves. Health‐related social needs (HRSNs), such as food and housing insecurity, are common in people with SCD, but the association between HRSNs and patient‐reported ...

ABSTRACT Cup‐like nuclei are a distinctive morphological feature observed in certain cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). We provide evidence that they characterize DUX4/ERG ALL independently of IKZF1 deletion and reveal marked mitochondrial accumulation in this ALL subset.

ABSTRACT Background Fertility preservation (FP) is increasingly integrated into the care of pediatric patients exposed to gonadotoxic therapy or conditioning for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), yet perioperative data in infants and toddlers remain scarce.

DESCRIPTION OF GROWTH AND OSCILLATION OF SOLUTIONS OF COMPLEX LDE’S
AbstractIt is known that, in the unit disc as well as in the whole complex plane, the growth of the analytic coefficients $A_0,\dotsc ,A_{k-2}$ of $$ \begin{align*} f^{(k)} + A_{k-2} f^{(k-2)} + \dotsb + A_1 f'+ A_0 f = 0, \quad k\geqslant 2, \end{align*} $$ determines, under certain growth restrictions, not only the growth but also the oscillation ...
