Triplet Ultrasound Growth Parameters
Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2006To create ultrasound growth curves for normal growth of fetal triplets using statistical methodology that properly accounts for similarities of growth of fetuses within a mother as well as repeated measurements over time for each fetus. In this longitudinal study, all triplet pregnancies managed at a single tertiary center from 1992-2004 were reviewed ...

Growth parameters in children with retinoblastoma
Acta Paediatrica, 1999The purpose of this study was to compare growth parameters of retinoblastoma patients with siblings and the normal Dutch population. Height, weight, head circumference and sitting height were measured in 67 patients and 63 controls. Target height was calculated based on the parental height of retinoblastoma patients.

Growth parameters in newborns with hyperphenylalaninaemia
Paediatric and Perinatal Epidemiology, 2002SummaryTo understand the effects of hyperphenylalaninaemia on fetal growth, we studied growth parameters (weight, length and head circumference) of 23 phenylketonuric (PKU) and 60 hyperphenylalaninaemic (HPA) newborns from healthy mothers and of 1853 healthy neonates from north‐east Italy.A comparison of the growth parameters for both PKU and HPA ...

Growth parameters in normal fetuses
Teratology, 1984AbstractA total of 14 linear measurements, seven ratios of linear measurements, and the weights of eight organs were taken from 100 normal fetuses. The fetuses had been therapeutically aborted between 11 and 19 weeks of gestational age by prostaglandin induction or hysterotomy.

The estimation of growth yield and maintenance parameters for photoautotrophic growth
Biotechnology and Bioengineering, 1984AbstractMethods are presented for examining the consistency of experimental data for microbial growth where light energy is converted to chemical energy through photosynthesis. True growth yield and maintenance parameters are estimated for several sets of available experimental data.

Estimating Parameters of Growth Curves of Bulls
Journal of Animal Science, 1989Parameters were estimated for nonlinear growth curves for bulls of five straightbred and 20 crossbred breed-types produced in two generations of a diallel. The primary intent of this study was to use the estimates obtained for mature size and maturing rate to define male growth in manner that would be appropriate for use in the Texas Agricultural ...

PARAMETERS OF ASCITES TUMOR GROWTH*
Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, 1958Ascites tumors, because of their analytical convenience aad biological flexibility, represent an adaptation important for study of growih. Such tumors, like all transplantable tumors, may be subject to influences not operative in the development of naturally occurring neoplasms.

Parameters for crystal growth of ribosomal subunits
Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, 1982AbstractA systematic analysis of the parameters that control the crystal growth of the large subunit of ribosomes from B stearothermophilus has been carried out. Several parameters have been identified and classified according to their significance. It was found that only biologically active particles can crystallize and that the critical period for ...

Physical growth parameters in thalassemic children
The Indian Journal of Pediatrics, 1997Various growth parameters of 233 (140 boys, 93 girls) thalassemic children were compared with 74 (45 boys and 29 girls) non-thalassemic siblings, ICMR and NCHS norms. Weight and height were retarded in thalassemic children. The difference between thalassemic and non-thalassemic siblings, was evident from 9+ years in both boys and girls.
