This paper reports the analysis of a faunal assemblagefrom the marine coast of the Mar Chiquita party. Bone specimens were identified mainly as Lama guanicoe. Quantification, morphometry, anatomical refitting and taphonomic traces point to a single naturally deposited carcass as the sole or the main source of faunal remains.
