Madras Agricultural Journal, 2016Guava orchards of Tamil Nadu were facing sudden decline and sampling revealed the incidence of root knot nematode. The species was identified using morphometry and with the help of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) common 18S primer as Meloidogyne enterolobii further confirmed by sequencing the 18s rRNA gene.
