Immunolocalization of steroidogenic enzymes in the vaginal mucous of Galea spixii during the estrous cycle. [PDF]
BackgroundThe synthesis of sex steroids is controlled by several enzymes such as17α-hydroxylase cytochrome P450 (P450c17) catalyzing androgen synthesis and aromatase cytochrome P450 (P450arom) catalyzing estrogen synthesis, both of which must complex ...

Loss of E3 ligase HvST1 function substantially increases distal crossover frequency
Summary This study characterizes the function of a grass‐specific E3 ubiquitin ligase, HvST1, in regulating synapsis and crossover (CO) formation during meiosis in barley (Hordeum vulgare). In large‐genome cereals, COs are predominantly restricted to distal chromosomal regions, limiting genetic recombination and breeding flexibility.

Effects of intensity and frequency of defoliation on a mixture of guinea grass (Panicum maximum cv. Coloniao) and Verano stylo (Stylosanthes hamata cv. Verano) : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Agricultural Science in Plant Science at Massey University [PDF]
A study was conducted in a glasshouse to determine the effect of defoliation treatments comprising combinations of two intensities (7.5 cm and 15.0 cm cutting height) and three frequencies (2, 3 and 6 weeks) on production, botanical composition and crude
