Packaging of Macroscopic Material Payloads: Needs, Challenges, Concepts, and Future Directions

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 9, 6 May 2026.
This review introduces a unified framework that decomposes any macroscopic packaging system into the payload, packaging material, and packaging strategy and combines them into a conceptual packaging equation: packaging strategy = payload + packaging material.

STEAP1 Suppresses Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma by Targeting Wnt/β‐Catenin Signalling and EMT

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective The present study aimed to investigate the expression and biological behaviour of the six‐transmembrane epithelial antigen of the prostate 1 (STEAP1) in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), and to further analyse its underlying mechanisms.

Minimally Invasive Cantilever RBFPD Using a 270‐Degree Veneer Abutment in a Young Cleft Patient: A Clinical Adhesive Technique

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Adhesive cantilever resin‐bonded bridges (RBBs) are a minimally invasive option for replacing maxillary lateral incisors in young cleft patients, in whom implant placement is often delayed until completion of craniofacial growth or declined due to surgical burden. Beyond material selection, the outcome depends critically on abutment design and

Interactions of zein and zein/rosin nanoparticles with natural polyanion gum arabic

Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces, 2020
The objective of this study was to investigate interactions of zein (Z) and zein/rosin (Z/R) nanoparticles with gum arabic (GA), at different pH. Nanoparticles were firstly prepared by antisolvent precipitation of biopolymers from aqueous ethanol solutions.

Carboxymethyl cellulose-rosin gum hybrid nanoparticles: An efficient drug carrier

International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, 2018
Adequate release of 5-ASA in colon is challenging as it easily permeates at the acidic pH of the upper gastrointestinal tract. Targeting delayed release of 5-ASA at acidic pH, Carboxymethyl cellulose-rosin gum hybrid nanoparticles (CRNP3) with an average size of 267nm have been crafted through nanoprecipitation method.

Gum rosin-acetone system as an analogue to the degassing behaviour of hydrated magmas

Bulletin of Volcanology, 1995
Solutions of gum rosin and acetone reproduce the volatile- and temperature-dependent viscosity, together with the phase behaviour, of hydrated magmas. A range of experimental exsolution conditions was investigated, including the variation of supersaturation, rate of decompression, solution temperature and volatile content.
