Conservation Science and Practice, EarlyView.We assessed the effectiveness of Wildlife Recovery Centers by comparing dispersal behavior of rehabilitated and wild Spanish imperial eagles using GPS tracking. Rehabilitated individuals initially moved shorter distances, rested more, and hunted less than wild controls, but these differences declined over time and ultimately disappeared.
