Nutrient Content and Sensory Acceptability of Home‐Based Therapeutic Food to Treat Children 6–59 Months With Moderate Acute Malnutrition

Develop and analyze eight home‐based therapeutic foods to treat moderate acute malnutrition (MAM) in children aged 6–59 months. Peanut‐enriched formulations showed the highest concentrations of protein, fat, calories, iron, zinc, and potassium compared to other blends.

Maternal Knowledge and Practices on Complementary Feeding and Associated Factors in Sedal District, Western Ethiopia

Maternal knowledge and practices regarding complementary feeding in the Sedal District, Western Ethiopia, were found to be suboptimal, with only 46.8% of mothers demonstrating adequate knowledge and 42.7% practicing appropriate feeding. Maternal education, household income, and family size were significant determinants of these practices.
