Experimental determination of mechanical parameters for damage modeling of gypsum-based composites
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2018The fracture behavior of ternary gypsum-lime-silica fume composites was investigated. The fracture energy of ternary paste and ternary mortar was determined by the means of three-point bend test on notched beam. The results show, that the gypsum-based paste is more brittle than gypsum–based mortar.

Physical and mechanical properties of gypsum-based composites reinforced with PVA and PP fibers
Construction and Building Materials, 2018Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polypropylene (PP) fibers on such properties of gypsum-based composites as workability, hydration kinetics, flexural strength and toughness. In recent decades, polymeric fibers have been widely applied in construction industry due to their good performance.

Design of the Ternary Gypsum-Based Building Composite Using Simplex Optimization
2018The main disadvantage of gypsum as a building material is the loss of its mechanical properties in a wet environment and therefore the use of pure gypsum is limited only to the interior of buildings. The resistance of gypsum materials against moisture can be improved by the addition of any pozzolanic material and an activator of the pozzolanic reaction

The effect of flax fiber additives on the strength of gypsum-based construction composites
Smart composite in constructionThe paper considers the prospects of using flax fibre additives to improve the physical and mechanical properties of building composites. The authors note that a regulated approach to the preparation of reinforcing additives from plant raw materials contributes to improving the performance characteristics of gypsum-based building materials. It has been

Abstract Composite materials containing phase change materials (PCMs) are obtained by mixing PCM microcapsules with traditional construction materials. The composite materials thermal properties, which depend on the composition, are required when dynamic simulations of building structures containing composite material with PCM are performed.
