Asynchronous Tracking Control of Amplitude Signals in Vibratory Gyroscopes With Partially Unknown Mode Information

IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print), 2023
Vibratory gyroscopes are the most ideal inertial sensors in the 21st century. The amplitude is an important index of vibratory gyroscopes. This article investigates an asynchronous tracking control approach for amplitude signals in vibratory gyroscopes ...

Frequency-Modulated MEMS Gyroscopes: A Review

IEEE Sensors Journal, 2021
As a high-precision angular rate sensor, the Frequency-Modulated (FM) gyroscope based on MEMS craft has attracted more and more attention in recent years, owing to its advantages in low power consumption, low temperature sensitivity, very high bandwidth,

Concepts, Roadmaps and Challenges of Ovenized MEMS Gyroscopes: A Review

IEEE Sensors Journal, 2021
The MEMS gyroscope by means of oven control, or the so-called ovenized MEMS gyroscope, isolates the die from the external environment and utilizes a closed-loop temperature control system.

Gyroscopes and the Chemical Literature, 2002-2020: Approaches to a Nascent Family of Molecular Devices.

Chemical Reviews, 2021
Research directed toward the goal of molecular gyroscopes since the coverage of a previous review (2002) is described. Such species are a subclass of molecular rotors, which are comprised of rotators and stators.

Composite Neural Learning-Based Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode Control of MEMS Gyroscopes

IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, 2020
The efficient driving control of MEMS gyroscopes is an attractive way to improve the precision without hardware redesign. This paper investigates the sliding mode control (SMC) for the dynamics of MEMS gyroscopes using neural networks (NNs).

Fullerene Quantum Gyroscope

Physical Review Letters, 2004
We report the observation of quantized rotational states of a diatomic C2 unit in solid endohedral fullerene C(2)Sc(2)@C(84). The rotational transitions induce a periodic line pattern in the low energy Raman spectrum. The rotational constant B and the C-C distance were found to be 1.73 cm(-1) and 0.127 nm, respectively.
