On Holder’s Inequality in Lebesgue Spaces with Variable Order of Summability

open access: yesСовременная математика: Фундаментальные направления, 2021
In this paper, we introduce a new version of the definition of a quasi-norm (in particular, a norm) in Lebesgue spaces with variable order of summability.

The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Medication Management for Older Adults: A Systematic Review

open access: yesAGING MEDICINE, EarlyView.
Artificial intelligence enhances medication management for older adults by improving adherence, personalizing treatment, and predicting risks. Despite benefits, challenges remain in usability, trust, ethics, and system integration. Successful adoption requires user‐centered design, ethical safeguards, and seamless healthcare integration to ensure safe,

Are all meats substitutes? A basket‐and‐expenditure‐based approach

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
Abstract This study examines the relationship among animal‐based meat and plant‐based meat alternatives (PBMAs) using a basket‐and‐expenditure‐based choice experiment. In particular, we examine whether animal‐based meat products are substitutes or complements with PBMAs.

A Study on the New Class of Inequalities of Midpoint-Type and Trapezoidal-Type Based on Twice Differentiable Functions with Conformable Operators

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2023
This paper derives some equalities via twice differentiable functions and conformable fractional integrals. With the help of the obtained identities, we present new trapezoid-type and midpoint-type inequalities via convex functions in the context of the ...

Corrected Dual-Simpson-Type Inequalities for Differentiable Generalized Convex Functions on Fractal Set

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
The present paper provides several corrected dual-Simpson-type inequalities for functions whose local fractional derivatives are generalized convex. To that end, we derive a new local fractional integral identity as an auxiliary result.

Foreign labor, peer‐networking and agricultural efficiency in the Italian dairy sector

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
Abstract While the presence of immigrants in the agricultural sector is widely acknowledged, the empirical evidence on its economic consequences is lacking, especially from a microeconomic perspective. Using the Farm Accountancy Data Network panel data for Italian dairy farms in the period 2008–2018, the present study investigates the relationship ...

Agricultural Diversification at the Margin. Strategies and Determinants in Italian Mountain and Remote Areas

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper explores the convergence in on‐farm diversification strategies of agricultural holdings, between remote areas and more central ones. Using Italian farm‐level data, we explore the determinants of diversification strategies across farms.

Hölder’s inequality for shifted quantum integral operator

open access: yesExamples and Counterexamples
We show by two counterexamples that Hölder’s inequality for shifted quantum integral operator does not hold in general and we prove the case in which it is valid.

“It Is Much Safer to Be Sparse than Connected”: Safe Control of Robotic Swarm Density Dynamics with PDE Optimization with State Constraints

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This paper proposes a novel control framework to ensure safety of a robotic swarm. A feedback optimization controller is capable of driving the swarm toward a target density while keeping risk‐zone exposure below a safety threshold. Theory and experiments show how safety is more effectively achieved for sparsely connected swarms.

MusicSwarm: Biologically Inspired Intelligence for Music Composition

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Biologically inspired swarms of frozen foundation models self‐organize to compose complex music without fine‐tuning. By coordinating through stigmergic signals, decentralized agents dynamically evolve specialized roles and adapt to solve complex tasks.
