Microbiome−host proteostasis crosstalk—An emerging perspective on mechanisms and interventions toward healthy longevity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Hölder continuity of weak solution to a nonlinear problem with non-standard growth conditions

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2018
We study the Hölder continuity of weak solution u to an equation arising in the stationary motion of electrorheological fluids. To this end, we first obtain higher integrability of Du in our case by establishing a reverse Hölder inequality.

Classical Solutions to the Initial-Boundary Value Problems for Nonautonomous Fractional Diffusion Equations

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
In this paper, we investigate a class of nonautonomous fractional diffusion equations (NFDEs). Firstly, under the condition of weighted Hölder continuity, the existence and two estimates of classical solutions are obtained by virtue of the properties of ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Holder continuity with exponent (1+alpha)/2 in the time variable for solutions of parabolic equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
We consider the regularity of solutions for some parabolic equations. We show Holder continuity with exponent $(1+\alpha )/2$, with respect to the time variable, when the gradient in the space variable of the solution has the Holder continuity with ...

An alternative approach to partial regularity of quasilinear elliptic systems with VMO coefficients

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
In this paper, we provide an alternative approach to partially Hölder continuity of some quasilinear elliptic systems with discontinuous coefficients under natural growth.

Gradient estimates for the fundamental solution of Lévy type operator

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2020
We prove a gradient estimate and the Hölder continuity of the gradient for the fundamental solution of a class of α-stable type operators with α ∈ (0, 1), which improve known results in the literature where the condition α > 1/2 is commonly assumed.

Optimal partial regularity of discontinuous subelliptic systems with VMO coefficients related to Hörmander’s vector fields

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2023
In this paper, we study discontinuous subelliptic systems with VMO coefficients related to Hörmander’s vector fields. In the case of growth exponential p ≥ 2 $p\geq 2$  , the regularity results of the partial Hölder continuity of weak solutions are ...

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

A Note on Hölder Continuity of Solution Set for Parametric Vector Quasiequilibrium Problems

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2011
By using a scalarization technique, we extend and sharpen the results in S. Li and X. Li (2011) on the Hölder continuity of the solution sets of parametric vector equilibrium problems to the case of parametric vector quasiequilibrium problems in ...
