Biased bureaucrats and the policies of international organizations
Abstract This article advances a novel argument about the policy output of international organizations (IOs) by highlighting the role of individual staffers. We approach them as purposive actors carrying heterogeneous ideological biases that materially shape their policy choices on the job.

Existing theories of authoritarian politics suggest a pivotal role for elections in enhancing the survival of incumbent dictators. Estimating uveal melanoma volume with ellipsoid tumour models
Abstract Purpose Ellipsoid tumour models are used to approximate the tumour volume of uveal melanomas, as the conventionally used ultrasound does not provide a three‐dimensional visualization of the tumour. However, these models are a simplification of the actual tumour geometry.
