siRNA Delivery via Cross‐Linked Gelatin Microparticles Enables Targeted Modulation of Osteogenic‐Vascular Cross‐Talk: An Advanced Human 3D in Vitro Test System for Therapeutic siRNA

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Osteogenic‐angiogenic cross‐talk is a vital prerequisite for vascularized bone regeneration. In this study, we investigated the effects of siRNA‐mediated silencing of two inhibitory proteins, Chordin and WWP‐1, via CaP‐NP‐loaded gelatin microparticles in osteogenically differentiated microtissues.

Symmetries of the gravitational scattering in the absence of peeling

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The symmetries of the gravitational scattering are intimately tied to the symmetries which preserve asymptotic flatness at null infinity. In Penrose’s definition of asymptotic flatness, a central role is played by the notion of asymptotic simplicity and ...

Engineering Resatorvid‐Loaded Sub‐Microgels of Epigallocatechin‐3‐gallate/Hyaluronic Acid to Treat Acute Lung Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents HAEP@Res sub‐microgels as a lung‐targeted delivery system integrating antioxidant activity with anti‐inflammatory therapy. The sub‐microgels demonstrate excellent biocompatibility, efficiently scavenge intracellular ROS, and downregulate pro‐inflammatory cytokines and genes in a Bleo‐induced ALI mouse model. These findings highlight

Reassociation of histone H1 to H1-depleted polynucleosomes.

open access: yesJournal of Biological Chemistry, 1982
A new procedure is described for the reassociation of histone H1 to rat liver polynucleosomes selectively depleted of H1 and nonhistone proteins. The fidelity of reconstitution was scrutinized by nuclease digestion and sedimentation studies monitoring the regeneration of structural features which disappear following removal of H1.

A Cu‐Based Near‐IR Active MOF with an Ion‐Pair Guest Exhibiting Versatile and Selective Gas‐Solid Reactivity

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The new Cu‐containing MOF (Me2NH2)(CuICl2)@[Cu4(INA)4Cl2O]·1.5dmf (3) contains a cation and an anion as guests and shows UV‐near‐mid‐IR absorption and near‐IR emission. MOF 3 shows gas‐solid reactivity in the presence of NH3 and HCOOH to yield two new 3D MOF.

Droplet Electricity Generators With Maximized Energy Collection Zone Enabled by Aloe‐Inspired Midrib and Cuticle

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An Aloe‐pinspired droplet electricity generator (A‐DEG) overcomes the limited energy collection zone of conventional DEGs by guiding impact droplets through a channeling midrib and artificial cuticle. The channeling midrib induces uni‐directional droplet spreading, while the artificial cuticle on the midrib further reinforces this behavior through its ...

Excited fermions at H1 [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2008
We present a search for excited neutrinos and electrons using all data collected by the H1 experiment at HERA at a center-of-mass energy of 320 GeV with an integrated luminosity of up to 435 pb$^{-1}$. No evidence for excited neutrino or electron production is found.

Advances in MoS2‐Au Nanostructured Platforms for Cancer‐Derived miRNA Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This figure presents the roadmap and scope of this review on microRNA detection technologies, with emphasis on MoS2 and MoS2–Au hybrid nanostructures. It traces the evolution from conventional assays to MoS2‐based SERS platforms, highlights synthesis, interfacial chemistry, and signal‐enhancement mechanisms, and summarizes key challenges and future ...
