H23 Monoclonal Antibody Recognizes a Breast Tumor Associated Antigen: Clinical and Molecular Studies
1989A monoclonal antibody (MoAb) H23 was generated in our laboratory against particles released by the T47D cell line. H23 MoAb recognized specific antigens in 90% of 590 breast tumor biopsies tested by the indirect immunoperoxidase test. Furthermore, the H23 MoAb detects antigens in sera and body fluids of patients with breast carcinoma.

The isolation and characterization of the complementary DNAs (cDNAs) and gene which code for an epithelial tumor antigen (H23-ETA), aberrantly expressed in human breast tumor tissue, are described here. A diversity of H23-ETA protein forms, is generated by a series of alternative splicing events that occur in regions located upstream and downstream to ...

H23 Addressing carer burden and patient care: prototyping a solution with mobile and web technology
Clinical care and clinical services, 2018Background Huntington’s disease (HD) family carers face a unique and overwhelmingly high care burden. They commonly suffer physical and mental exhaustion, frustration, and financial difficulties, which results in a heavy toll on family relationships and cohesiveness.

Effect of imperatorin on anoikis in H23 lung cancer cells
Anoikis-sensitization activity of imperatorin, an active furanocoumarin component of Angelica dahurica root, is reported herein for the first time in human lung cancer H23 cell. The present study demonstrated that the imperatorin treatment at sub-toxic concentrations enhanced human lung cancer H23 cell apoptosis after detachment.openaire +1 more source
EFFECT OF OUABAIN ON THE DETACHMENT OF H23 LUNG CANCER CELL
A human steroid hormone, ouabain, has been shown to play a role in several types of cancer cell behavior; however, its effects on cancer metastasis are largely unknown. Here, we demonstrate in human lung cancer cells that sub-toxic concentrations of ouabain facilitate cancer cell detachment from the extracellular matrix.openaire +1 more source
Influence of gefitinib and erlotinib on apoptosis and c-MYC expression in H23 lung cancer cells.
Anticancer research, 2013Gefitinib and erlotinib are inhibitors of epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase. The effects of these tyrosine kinase inhibitors on RAS-mutated cancer cells are unclear.Influence of gefitinib and erlotinib treatment was examined in H23 adenocarcinoma and A431 epidermoid carcinoma cells.

Effects of ecteinascidin 770 on lung cancer NCI-H23 cell anoikis
Anti-metastasis have received increased research effort and clinical attention. The anoikis-sensitizing effect of ecteinascidin 770 (ET-770) was investigated in the present study in non-small cell lung cancer cells. ET-770 isolated from Ecteinascidia thurstoni was tested for its anoikis-sensitizing effect on H23 human lung cancer cell by XTT assay. Theopenaire +1 more source
